Tools -> Hack hammer - records: 3

The toothed hammer was, probably, introduced in central Tuscany Pisa by the workers who brought him in Volterra and Val d'Elsa around the fifteenth century. The use of the hammer in Pisano appears to be due to contacts with the coastal countries of the Middle East. Traces of the hammer are found in fact to Aquileia, in the Baptistery of degree (V-VI cent.), Torcello (VII cent.) And Venice (X cent.). A Siena traces are found, in fact from the fifteenth century., In the Church of Provenzano and San Martino.
The tracks consist in a characteristic sign segments parallel to all tissues in the same direction.
In the yard, just made ??the process "at the tip rough" and "fine at the tip," followed treatment with the hammer, teeth large and fine teeth. This allowed to obtain the anathyrosis (known by stonemasons as "lanyard"), for the mating face of the boulders between them and therefore have a good degree of final finishing, in the laying.
The use of the hammer reveals a workmanship, made by skilled craftsmen, and therefore its intended use was to be privileged.
