TOOLS Tools -> Mobile crane - records: 37 Three types of self-propelled cranes were used in quarries of Rapolano and still are preserved specimens. Such as photographs documenting cranes were wheeled loaders and crawler. A self-propelled ORMIG is located in the quarries of Querciolaie, another in the old shipyard Sant'Andrea. A Belotti is still running in the yard again Sant'Andrea. In the old shipyard Sant'Andrea is also the remains of a crawler crane. Mobile crane consists of a frame, mounted on rubber wheels or tracks, consisting of a monolithic structure welded and made of steel. Above the chassis is installed the operator cabin in which are located all operating commands for the handling of loads and displacements of the machine. Connected to the frame, by means of support shoulders, is installed an arm made of sheet steel with high resistance to whose ends' is connected to a hook for lifting. |
